CONS
- Does not have the powered liftaway feature
Who is this vacuum best suited for?
If you have to vacuum a lot of hair, especially long hair and don’t fancy having to cut the hair out of the brush roll then this vacuum might be perfect for you.
An additional plus is the larger dust cup capacity which is ideal for pet owners who are constantly vacuuming pet hair and hate having to constantly empty the dust cup holder.
The only drawback with this vacuum is it does not have the powered liftaway feature. Keep in mind though that this vacuum has a longer vacuum hose to compensate for the lack of the liftaway feature.
Conclusion
These two models are both equally good. However, if you don’t miss the powered liftaway feature we tend favor the ZU62 model.
This is the more modern model and has the latest features. Additionally as compensation for not having the liftaway model you get a longer vacuuming hose.
