Who is this vacuum best suited for?

The shark nv501 is a classic and very popular upright vacuum. It is not one of the most recent additons to sharks vacuum collection.  So you won’t see such features like duo clean brush roll or the self-cleaning brush roll.  This vacuum does however perform well on all floor types and if you can find this vacuum at a price under $200 it is a steal.

If you have to vacuum a lot of hair, especially long hair and don’t fancy having to cut the hair out of the brush roll then this vacuum might be perfect for you.

This vacuum also has a pretty large dust cup holder and is lightweight.

These two models are both equally good.  However, we would go with the zu572 since it is a new model and has the latest technology.
