What is Zero M Cleaning Brush Roll

The UV700 vacuum has the zero m self-cleaning brush roll.

The self-cleaning brush roll has a series of protrusions that constantly remove hair from the brush roll as you vacuum instead of having to manually do this task. If this is one of the tasks that you dislike when cleaning you might want to have a look at the UV700 model.

What is Powered Liftaway

The powered liftaway means you can detach the canister pod so you can clean hard to reach areas while still delivering power to keep the brush roll spinning.

This feature gives you more maneuverability when using the vacuum to reach hard to reach areas such as under couches or when cleaning above-ground areas. A plus is you still maintain the same vacuuming power.

The shark NV752 model has the powered liftaway feature.

What is the difference between powered liftaway and liftaway

The liftaway feature that is available in the UV700 models means that the unit can be detached from the wand at the click of a button, turning your upright vacuum into a portable. In the liftaway mode there is no power in the brush roll.

Powered Lift Away (NV752 model) delivers power directly to the brush roll head even in Lift Away mode.

Detailed Comparison of the Features

  • Cleaning Performance (Winner UV700) – In this case we will go with the UV700 model. This shark vacuum is the newer model and has the latest cleaning technology such as the duo clean technology and the zero m self -cleaning brush roll.
  • Weight (UV700) – The UV700 models weighs around 3 lbs. less than the NV752 model.
  • Maneuverability ( Winner NV752) – Both of these vacuums have the liftaway feature. However the NV752 has a powered liftaway feature so I would give it a slight edge. Keep in mind the UV700 model is a bit lighter so this makes it easy to manoeuvre.
  • Accessories (Tie) – Both the NV752 and the UV700 come with a large variety of accessories. The NV752 comes with more accessories geared towards pet owners than the UV700 model.
  • Cost (Tie) – The UV700 and the NV752 vacuums tend to be in the same price range.
